What is a group travel insurance policy ?

A group travel insurance policy covers all travellers travelling together abroad. Instead of having one traveler per policy, you can have everyone on the same policy which makes it easier for you to manage. At Allianz, group travel insurance is however limited to 50 people per policy.

As for a travel insurance for one individual, you can purchase a small group travel insurance either for a single trip or for an annual cover. In case you opt in for travel insurance for one single trip, then every traveler will need to have the same travel dates - You cannot book everyone under the same travel insurance if you want each individual to be covered differently and for different period. If you decide to opt in for an annual multi-trip policy, then all of the travelers will be covered for all their trips below 90 days taken in the following year whether they will travel together or not.

What does group travel insurance cover?

Just as for an individual travel insurance, our group travel insurance provides different levels of coverage depending on which travel insurance plan you purchase. Among the most popular travel insurance benefits, you have:

How can I book a group travel insurance ?

You can buy your group travel insurance online in just a few clicks. You will need to enter your trip details (destination, duration, number of travelers, their age) to get a free quotation. Then, you will be able to purchase your policy online

In order to purchase your group travel insurance you will need to enter the first name, last namem date of birth ond passport number of each traveler.

Can I add or remove someone on an existing group travel insurance ?

No - once your travel insurance policy is issued, you cannot modify the number of travelers on this policy or switch one person for another. It is therefore important to know who is travelling before you can buy you group travel insurance.

You will also need to enter the personal information of each traveler (first name, last name, date of birth and passport number) at the time of the policy purchase.

How can I claim on a group travel insurance policy ?
