What is a group travel insurance policy ?

A group travel insurance policy covers all travellers travelling together abroad. Instead of having one traveler per policy, you can have everyone on the same policy which makes it easier for you to manage. At Allianz, group travel insurance is however limited to 10 people per policy. 

As for a travel insurance for one individual, you can purchase a small group travel insurance either for a single trip or for an annual cover. In case you opt in for travel insurance for one single trip, then every traveler will need to have the same travel dates  - You cannot book everyone under the same travel insurance if you want each individual to be covered differently and for different period. If you decide to opt in for an annual multi-trip policy, then all of the travelers will be covered for all their trips below 90 days taken in the following year whether they will travel together or not. 

 

What does small group travel insurance cover? 

Just as for an individual travel insurance, our small group travel insurance  provides different levels of coverage depending on which travel insurance plan you purchase. Among the most popular travel insurance benefits, you have:  

Emergency Medical and Dental: As many health insurance providers will not cover you while you are overseas, travel insurance can be a life-saver in case of medical emergencies abroad.

What are the limits of Group Travel Insurance? 

As mentioned above, Allianz Travel can only cover up to 10 people on the same policy.  Our travel insurance plans cover a wide range of scenarios, however we recommend you to read our Terms and Conditions to be sure you understand the feature of our products.

Delayed Departure
