After the purchase of your Allianz global travel insurance, you will receive an email with the Policy wording and Certificate of Insurance. Among the criteria for Allianz travel insurance, there are :

Traveller's age: This insurance includes travellers of almost all ages. It extends from infants as young as 30 days, providing early protection for the youngest travellers, to seniors up to 85, ensuring that more experienced travellers can travel peacefully.

Trip Duration: our travel insurance products can only cover trips whose duration is limited to 90 days abroad. Whether a quick getaway or an extended exploration, Allianz Travel insurance premium adapts to the duration of your trip. This ensures that you are comprehensively covered from the moment you embark on your journey until your return.

Country of residence: for our outbound travel insurance, you need to be a UAE-resident. For Inbound travel insurance, there is no restriction on your country of residence.

The terminology can sometimes be a bit misleading so let's first clarify the terms:

Single Trip: we call "Single Trip" any trips where the policyholder takes a trip with a clear start date and end date.
One-way trip: this is when the traveler flies off with no return date. This is therefore no longer a trip with an end date.
Round-trip: it is a synonym of a "single-trip". The traveler takes a trip with a start date and an end date.

Travel insurance is limited in terms of duration - At Allianz we only cover trips below 90 days. Therefore, in the case a customer takes a one-way trip, they will not be able to purchase a travel insurance since the duration of their stay abroad will be unlimited.
